Appointments in Outlook can have contacts which are shown white hidden on the bottom of the form. When accessing them using the APIs You have too look for the "links" attribute.

To open another person's calendar you have to know a name Outlook/Exchange can resolve. The format which seems to work best is "Lastname, Firstname":

Since I don't know much about C# and .Net I often discover little things while working with it. I want to use this place to collect a few of them. Must people in my environment know that I know quite some things about HTTP and network communication. So I was recently asked by one of my relatives to assist in a test where they were putting two different systems together for te first time, since the guy responsible for that communication part wasn't available on that day. One system ("we") was written using C# ASPX the other ("they") was an SAP system developed in ABAP. The specification wasn' that complicated and read something like "Their systems does a HTTP POST request to our system, sending an XML document, which can be validated using an XSD schema to us and doesn't care about returned values or anything." Since I some weeks I'm running Linux on my current workstation. I've been a KDE user for some time but since I like liferea (I understand the code!) as my feed reader and I wanted to see whether GNOME's better than KDE I set it up as my desktop environment. Now I was missing an music player. I knew KDE has the great amaroK, being on a GNOME desktop I searched something similar. The best I found was Banshee a Mono-based player written in C#. After getting the first experience I missed an feature: Automatic playlists for each album. So I set down and developed it, you can see a screenshot of the results on the top of the post and the code here. (I compile it by executing "gmcs -out:ArtistList.dll -target:library -rbanshee -r:System.Data.dll ArtistList.cs") What it does is generating the list you see on the left of the screenshot. It's far away from being stable (see comments in the code) but works for me
