Wolfram|Alpha is a nice technology, unfortunately it is missing lots of possible knowledge so it can't compete with offerings like Wikipedia in most cases. But it still has some interesting facts. Did you ever wonder how far God is away from Earth?- 5600 kilometers!

It's just five days since the fire fighters were next doors but they miss this street already - this time they are just across the street.

... it was time for the regular spring fire again. But for the first time the fire was in the next part of the apartment complex I'm living in, and looks like just the balcony was on fire. The fire fighters spent less than 10 minutes here - I guess they meanwhile know the building ....

Over the last two weeks I had the chance of going to concerts of three of my favorite music acts. In chronological order:

• August 25th: For the first time I went to see Seeed (Wikipedia) at Berlin: A really great show and a really good sound system which made it possible to hear every single percussion stuff while also having a good bass. Really great show even though one could feel that they were looking forward to their one year break. If you have a chance for attending one of their concerts and like dancehall music: Go for it!
• September 1st: For the third time I visited a concert of Dendemann (WP), the second time with his Die Pfütze des Eisbergs program. Therefore there wasn't new stuff for me but still a nice show (and for free )
• September 4th: For the second time I was at a Kinderzimmer Productions (WP) concert. Since I didn't have the current album, Asphalt, yet (I bought it after the show) there was really quite some new stuff for me. Inside the concert hall it was quite hot which led, in combination with my dancing, to a quite wet T-Shirt unfortunately I wasn't able to buy a Kinderzimmer Productions T-Shirt since they were sold out. Damn. (While I'd prefer a sweater but they didn't even offer them...) _{(And I'm sure that concert was way better than NIN where Thorsten was)}

P.S. Ich denke die config.m4 werde ich nicht einsetzen, statt dessen die lib bundlen, macht mir das Leben leichter und ich kann überll PHP Streams verwenden und so... wobei als Fallback ist es wohl ganz gut... nunja, mal sehen.

This night I came back from a trip to Kaunas (Lithuania) where my friend Johann and me gave some security consulting. Although I didn't see much of the country (basically I just saw the Hotel, some office building and a shopping mall) it was a nice trip which also produced some media attention in the Lithuanian press.

From Monday till Wednesday I've been on a short trip to Barcelona and had quite some fun while my feet hurt from walking all day.

Since I moved out from my parent's place I share my neighbour's Inernet connection but now he's moving to another appartment on the same floor he had to change his Internet contract. Yesterday, while I was doing some work online, they shut down the old connection but the new one wasn't configured, yet. Since I had to finish my work I went to my parent's place to use their net connection. Well, my parents were happy to see me again

For Christmas I gave my mum a puzzle with a picture from M.C. Escher, it took a month and a few people to finish it but it's done and I can visit my parent's place without being blamed for that puzzle, see below for a few pictures Read More

TV Links is a site collecting links episodes of quite a few episodes from TV series hosted on dailymotion, youtube and other video sites. after tvlinks.50webs.com and tvlinks.voodeedoo.org it finally got it's own domain, and I hope they keep their name, http://www.tv-links.co.uk/ for some while, it's a great site to watch TV series independent from TV schedules and, for me being located in Germany, a good way to get the original versions without German synchronisation.
